Terms & Conditions

• Cats will only be accepted during opening hours or by appointment.
• All cats must be transported in a secure and safe pet travel carrier.
• Rates are charged on a daily basis, including day of arrival and departure.
• Minimum charge is for 3 days boarding.
• Full payment will be taken prior to the day of arrival. No deposit required.
• Sharing accommodation is only available to cats from the same household. Cats from the same family will be separated if they are found not to be getting on.
• Cats over 6 months of age will only be accepted if neutered/spayed.
• Your cats flea/worming treatment must be done 2 weeks prior to boarding.
• Any treatment deemed necessary for the cats comfort and well being: i.e. worming, flea treatment etc. will be carried out and charged to the owner.
• Your cats inoculations for Feline Infectious Enteritis and upper respiratory infections(cat flu) must be up to date.
• Owners must produce an up to date vaccination certificate on arrival.
• Where a full course of vaccinations is required, these must be carried out at least 7 days before boarding.
• The annual booster vaccination should be carried out at least 7 days before boarding.
• The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending advise from a veterinary surgeon.
• Owners will appreciate that this is to safeguard the health of all cats boarding.
• Owners must inform Fussy Cat Lodge at the time of booking or arrival of any medical condition concerning your cat/cats.
• We are happy to accommodate cats on medication. We can administer medication orally or in food.
• Fussy Cat Lodge are fully insured for accident/illness during boarding.
• In the event of accident/illness the cattery veterinary surgeon will be called to attend to the cat/cats.
• Any veterinary fees incurred by Fussy Cat Lodge in the treatment of an historical or ongoing medical condition, will be the sole responsibility of the owner and will be paid in full by the owner.
• Whilst every care and precaution is taken during boarding, the proprietors of Fussy Cat Lodge cannot be held responsible for illness, disease or death whilst boarding.
